Creator Terms

1. Overview

These Creator Terms (“Creator Terms”) apply to all users who upload photographs or other content to EGPK.info through the creator pool programme. These Creator Terms supplement the general Terms of Service and, in the event of a conflict, these Creator Terms prevail for creator-specific matters.

By uploading content to EGPK.info, you agree to be bound by these Creator Terms.

2. Eligibility

• You must have a registered EGPK.info account in good standing.
• You must be at least 18 years old to participate in the revenue-sharing programme and receive payouts.
• To receive payouts, you must complete Stripe Connect onboarding, including any identity verification required by Stripe.

3. Content Ownership & Licence

• You retain full ownership and copyright of all photographs and content you upload.
• By uploading, you grant EGPK.info a worldwide, non-exclusive, sublicensable, royalty-free licence to:
  • Display your content on the Platform, including the photo gallery, aircraft pages, and search results
  • Resize, compress, watermark, and otherwise format your content for display purposes
  • Use your content in promotional materials for the Platform (social media, newsletters, etc.)
  • Allow paid subscribers to view your content as part of their subscription
• This licence continues for as long as the content remains on the Platform. If you remove your content or close your account, the licence terminates, except where the content has already been distributed in promotional materials prior to removal.

4. Content Standards

All uploaded content must:

• Be your own original work, or you must hold the necessary rights to upload it
• Be aviation-related photography (aircraft, airports, aviation events, spotting locations)
• Not infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right
• Not contain content that compromises aviation security, reveals restricted area layouts, or could facilitate unlawful activity
• Not contain identifiable individuals without their consent (incidental background appearances excepted)
• Not contain offensive, defamatory, or illegal material

We reserve the right to reject or remove any content that does not meet these standards, without notice or obligation to explain.

5. Revenue Sharing & the Creator Pool

How It Works

A portion of EGPK.info subscription revenue is allocated to the creator pool each month. This pool is distributed among eligible creators based on the engagement their content receives (views, favourites, and downloads by paid subscribers).

Pool Allocation

• The percentage of revenue allocated to the creator pool is set at our discretion and may be adjusted with 30 days' notice.
• The current pool allocation percentage is displayed on the Creator Pool page.
• We reserve the right to modify the engagement metrics and weighting used to calculate individual shares.

Payouts

• Payouts are processed via Stripe Connect on a monthly basis.
• The minimum payout threshold is displayed on the Creator Pool page. Earnings below the threshold roll over to the following month.
• Payouts are made in GBP. Currency conversion fees (if applicable) are borne by the creator.
• You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any income tax, National Insurance, or other tax obligations arising from your creator earnings.
• We may issue earnings statements but we do not provide tax advice.

Adjustments

• If content is found to violate these terms after a payout has been made, we may deduct the relevant amount from future earnings.
• Artificial inflation of engagement metrics (e.g. automated views) will result in disqualification from the pool and may lead to account termination.

6. EXIF & Metadata

• Photographs may contain EXIF metadata (camera model, settings, GPS coordinates, timestamps).
• We may use EXIF data for organisation, search, and display purposes (e.g. showing camera details alongside a photo).
• GPS data is stripped from publicly displayed images by default. You may opt in to displaying location data if you wish.
• We recommend reviewing your camera's metadata settings before uploading if you have privacy concerns.

7. Attribution

All displayed photographs will be credited to the uploading creator by their display name. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain attribution wherever your content is shown on the Platform. You may update your display name in your account settings at any time.

8. Content Removal

• You may remove your uploaded content at any time from your account dashboard.
• Removed content will be deleted from the Platform within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 48 hours.
• Cached or previously distributed versions (e.g. in newsletters sent before removal) may persist beyond this period.
• Removing content does not entitle you to a retroactive payout adjustment for previously earned revenue.

9. Takedown & Copyright Claims

If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please contact us at hello@egpk.info with:

• A description of the copyrighted work
• The URL of the infringing content on EGPK.info
• Your contact information
• A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorised

We will investigate and, where appropriate, remove infringing content promptly.

10. Termination of Creator Status

• You may stop participating in the creator pool at any time by removing your content or contacting us.
• We may terminate your creator status for repeated violations of these terms, copyright infringement, or engagement manipulation.
• Upon termination, any accrued earnings above the minimum payout threshold will be paid out in the next payment cycle. Earnings below the threshold are forfeited.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Creator Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active creators at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued participation in the creator pool after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
